For Expectant Parents
Felicia supports expectant parents through all stages of this exciting time with many different services.
Birth Doula
Having a doula at your birth can make an incredible positive difference. Felicia has assisted over 1100 families as a birth doula during their labors and births since 1998 and continues to make that difference for women and families on a weekly basis.
Virtual Doula Services
You deserve the nurturing, compassion and experience of a doula that has been proven to improve birth outcomes no matter what the current restrictions are on who can be physically in attendance at your birth. I am prepared and practiced at educating and supporting you virtually in the SF Bay Area… and globally!

Birth Coaching
Felicia can schedule personal, virtual meetings with you and your partner at your convenience to discuss and prepare for birth, including the time leading up to and ultimately your time in the hospital. She has put together great sessions with current hospital policies/considerations, preparation, packing suggestions, resources (via a google drive), videos, Amazon shopping list, printouts and so much more. After your personalized sessions with her, you won’t ever ‘not know’.
Placenta Encapsulation
Instead of going cold turkey from the feel-good CRH (Corticotropin-Releasing Hormone) after birth, we wean her off the hormones. It is thought to be rich in iron and vitamin B6, which helps the mother recover more readily. Felicia can dry, ground, and encapsulate your placenta and deliver you capsules which can be taken daily for a number of weeks. You reap all of the healthful benefits of placenta quickly, easily and discreetly, and the capsules will last indefinitely (for years). When you have recovered from childbirth, you can freeze the capsules and save them for menopause.
